In celebration of the company’s 20 years of success and everyone’s dedication, Warelog provided an unforgettable day for its employees. This event brought together employees from all sectors and units for a trip full of dynamic activities and moments of integration.
The beginning of this adventure
This day started early at the meeting points, with the bus ride to the beautiful Vila Nova de Poiares, in the District of Coimbra. The excitement was evident, and upon arriving at the destination, the meeting moment was special: many had the opportunity to meet in person colleagues who previously had only known by email or telephone.
Cooperative and competitive challenges were included in the program, which stimulated team spirit and strengthened bonds between participants.
An adventure that turned into a competition
The participants were divided into six teams, each with a creative name and enthusiastic team chants. Thus, a healthy rivalry was born. During Archery, we saw teams trying to distract each other, during Laser Tag there were hilarious moments, such as employees “shooting” their bosses, and during Bubble Soccer, laughter took over as people fell and collided. Despite the competitiveness, the most important thing was the joy and spirit of unity. “It really made us realize what good people we have within the company”, commented one of the directors. After the activities, a delicious lunch brought everyone together in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, allowing for the exchange of experiences and the strengthening of daily bonds. However, the day was not over yet. The competitions continued, and everyone was eager to meet the winning team.
We are the Champions 🏆
The “Dinamite” team stood out from the start and ended up as champions! The victory was celebrated to the sound of “We are the Champions”, with the entire bus singing and turning on their cell phone flashlights. It was an emotional moment that captured the spirit of collective celebration.
Our secret
The dinner was held in a charming location with a spectacular view. During the meal, Warelog’s CEO and founder, Luis Pinto, moved those present with an inspiring speech. “I once said this to a minister and I’ll say it to you too: the secret to Warelog’s success is you! We are very lucky. We are lucky to have a fantastic team, who work like lions, and then luck appears. It’s our luck, it’s us working,” he said.
He also highlighted the team’s strength and unity: “It’s very rare to have a team like ours, it’s really very rare. You have tremendous strength and a very strong bond. If we can transfer that to our day-to-day lives, we are absolutely unstoppable. There’s no one who can make us lose. And there’s no way we won’t be successful. With this team, we can only be successful.”
Recognition
The longest-serving employees were honored in recognition of their dedication over the years. Carla Coelho, Heitor Pinheiro, Pedro Lira, Rui Silva, Manuel Silva and José Salvador, who have been with the company since its inception, received a special gift 🎁 as a thank you for their commitment and contribution.

The dinner also included moments of group celebration. We sang “Happy Birthday”, raised a toast and sang the traditional Coimbra good luck chant led by Dr. António Rui, thus celebrating the team spirit that makes Warelog a unique place to work.
